This Cookie Policy explains how the Jitsunami+ platform (the "Platform") uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
These cookies are necessary for the Platform to work. They keep you signed in, keep your session secure, and remember essential settings. The Platform will not work properly without them, so they are always on and do not need your consent.
On our public web pages, including academies' public pages, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. It only runs if you accept analytics cookies, by choosing "Analytics only" or "Accept all": until you do, and if you choose "Essential only", nothing is sent to Google. Google Analytics' advertising features stay switched off whatever you choose.
On our own marketing pages (the Jitsunami+ home page, sign-up, contact, the academies directory and these legal pages) we use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. It tells us whether our adverts on Facebook and Instagram lead people to visit and try Jitsunami+, and lets us show our adverts to people who have visited. It is the same pixel we use on our jitsunami.com shop.
It only runs if you choose "Accept all". Choosing "Essential only" or "Analytics only" keeps it switched off, and nothing is sent to Meta. We never use it on academies' public pages, in the dashboard or in the member app.
When it runs, Meta receives the marketing pages you visit, whether you create an account, reach the payment step or start your academy's trial, and the plan you chose with its price. Meta sets its own cookies (such as _fbp) and may receive a scrambled (hashed) form of contact details you enter, which it uses to match the visit to a Facebook or Instagram account. Meta may combine this with other information it holds and may transfer it to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States. For collecting this data on our pages and sending it to Meta, we and Meta are joint controllers; Meta then uses it under its own privacy policy.
When optional cookies are in use, you can choose "Essential only", "Analytics only" or "Accept all" in the cookie banner on the Platform, and you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the page footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting cookies already stored or blocking new ones. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Platform may stop working.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the version and the "last updated" date.
