- Is Jitsunami+ only for BJJ?
- We're BJJ-focused. Every default - belt system, attendance cadences, time-in-grade, kids vs. adults - is shaped by how a BJJ academy actually runs. But belts, class types and progression are fully editable per academy, so other belt-based arts like karate, judo, taekwondo and krav maga work too. We're not a generic 'all-things-fitness' tool.
- Do you support kids classes and guardian consent?
- Yes. Parents manage their kids' accounts under a single login, sign waivers on their behalf, and pay billing in one place. The age at which a dependent can claim their own login is configurable per academy.
- Do you handle drop-ins and one-off events?
- Yes. Visiting BJJ travellers pay online, sign your waiver and walk in - the platform auto-creates their membership and records attendance. One-off sessions like seminars, gradings, open mats and camps each get their own public marketing page with dual member and visitor pricing, capped capacity and waitlists.
- How does the AI Assistant work and how is my data protected?
- The Jitsunami+ Assistant is included on the $29.99/mo tier. It has read-only access to your academy's data through the same internal API as the web app. Your data never trains anyone else's model - zero data retention is enabled at the provider. Every tool call is audited.
